NLIF offers short-term mission opportunities for sponsors and individuals interested in serving learning more about the New Life Foundation school and community. The trips are typically about 2 weeks and are led by members of the NLIF Board of Directors. The trips are designed to meet the needs and schedules of the team members and can occur throughout the year.
The trips involve serving in a variety of capacities such as assisting the school staff, participating in community outreach, and spending time with and encouraging the students and staff. Relationship-building is an opportunity to learn first-hand about the work God is doing through NLF and to be the hands and feet of Christ.
Mission trip cost largely depends on the price of airline tickets and are determined per trip to include travel, housing, and food costs. Planning for trips usually requires at least 6 months.

Here's what mission team members are saying!
"Mission work is straight from the heart of Father God. It is a catalytic spark to believers ignited in the love of God, meeting spiritual needs of the hungry and hurting of the world, and sharing the love of Christ with those who have not heard the message of Jesus."
"Serving on a mission team is an incredible blessing as I learn to serve others better."
"Having the opportunity to meet the students, hug them, share with them, and pray with them and know their story took sponsorship to an even deeper level."
"We now have extended family in Africa that we will never forget. I believe they will never forget us either. God meant for us to touch each other’s lives for His perfect purposes."
"Understanding the culture of the students and staff we support first hand creates a new awareness of the need and opportunity for the work NLF is doing."
"If we are not living God's purpose for our lives, we are robbing the next generation. The purpose for our lives is to use our God-given talents and gifts to serve others so they will come to know and grow in the radical love of a Savior who gave everything for them."
"More and more I am seeing how worship and missions are connected. The more I lift up my heart in worship to the Lord, the greater the love that flows out of me for those around me and the nations."
"I love seeing what God is doing throughout the world and joining in with Him!"
